A leading private hospital in the Bradford area is currently looking to recruit a Registered Adult Nurse/RGN or ODP to join their anaesthetics and recovery team on a full-time permanent basis.

About the Theatre Practitioner/ODP role and what the hospital is offering:

•    A full-time permanent contract of 37.5 hours per week (On Call expectation 1 in 4 weekends and 1 per week on average)

As Recovery Practitioner, you will prepare the operating theatre/anaesthetic room for surgery, ensuring the correct instrumentation, equipment and supplies are provided for specific operative procedures. You will perform anaesthetic duties whilst ensuring the Patient Record is completed in a timely and accurate way.

What we’re looking for in a Theatre Practitioner/ODP:

•    NMC Registered Adult Nurse/RGN or Operating Department Practitioner/ODP
•    Previous theatre experience is desired
•    ALS training is desired
•    Good clinical knowledge and understanding
•    Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and time-management skills
•    Able to work effectively in a team as well as individually when needed
