We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Professional to assist a friendly, chatty young man in his 30s with autism. This role involves supporting him during two four-hour visits each week to help him explore his community and beyond. It is ESSENTIAL to be a driver with a reliable vehicle insured in your name to fulfil this role.
Two four-hour shifts per week:
Tuesday: 4 hours
Friday: 4 hours
Key Responsibilities:
To drive our client to various locations safely and reliably.
To support our client during visits to shops, fast food outlets, nature spots, and other places of interest.
To encourage our client to try new experiences in a safe and supportive manner.
To build a positive and trusting relationship with our client and his family and promote social interaction.
To communicate clearly and effectively to ensure his comfort and understanding. A good and clear standard of spoken English is essential.
